Rumble Ponies Clip Fisher Cats 2-1 in WCS Contest
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium today, the Rumble Ponies beat the Fisher Cats 2-1 in extra innings to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Binghamton second baseman Chris Thurman was 2-4 with 2 home runs.

In the top of the tenth, Thurman hit a tie-breaking solo home run to help the Rumble Ponies capture the win.

"Big win," said Thurman.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.
