Almost There: Pulaski On Cusp of WCS Triumph After 7-3 Win
With left fielder Brandon Landers leading the charge, the Pulaski Yankees got a road win over the Harlan Smokies, 7-3, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series. Landers went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 at Pioneer Park to help Pulaski take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Pulaski used the hitting of Aston Hernandez to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Yankees on top, 4-3. For the game, Hernandez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Landers told the Pulaski Citizen. "Whatever it takes."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pioneer Park in Harlan.
