Hawks Hammered by Billingsley, Fall Further Behind in WCS
With left fielder Eugene Billingsley leading the charge, the Bend Rafters got a road win over the Boise Hawks, 9-4, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series. Billingsley went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 at Memorial Stadium to help Bend take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

In the top of the second, Billingsley had one of his most important at-bats: a solo home run off Isaias Williams that staked the Rafters to a 1-0 lead.

"Feels good to get the job done," Billingsley said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Memorial Stadium in Boise.
