Spartans Advance to Divisional Series
Ryder Corley wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Wild Card Series MVP.

The star's Olympia Spartans defeated the Yakima Valley Pippins by a series score of 4-1 to advance to the Divisional Series.

Olympia won the final game by a 15-8 count in front of a raucous crowd at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

Corley hit .412 with a .524 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 3 home runs, driving in 7 RBI and scoring 4 runs.

"Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Corley.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
