Medford Bats Cold in 7-0 Loss
|
Tri-City Dust Devils starter Vincent Sedita was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Medford Flying Tigers, 7-0. Tri-City bumps their record to 18-51 with the win.
Tri-City used a clutch at-bat from José Cerda to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Dust Devils ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Vincent has the heart of a gladiator," said Tri-City manager Bob Kaiser.
