Rattlers Need Extra Innings to Top Rafters, 4-3
|
The Redmond Rattlers defeated the Bend Rafters, 4-3, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Roland Acevedo, who was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles for the Rattlers. With the victory, the Rattlers record stands at 39-30.
Redmond used the timely hitting of Yansiel Aldana to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rattlers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Aldana told the Redmond Citizen.
