Cook Propels Wenatchee Offense in 12-3 Rout
The home crowd had a good time watching the Niagara Falls Rapids and Wenatchee Chiefs get after it.

The 12-3 Wenatchee win over Niagara Falls was due largely to Les Cook. The Chiefs catcher was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 4 and driving in 3. Wenatchee reliever A.J. Gonsales picked up the win to move to 3-0. Shad Ehrlich suffered the loss.

Nick Bourgeau had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Wenatchee. With the bases loaded and the Chiefs leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Cook told the Wenatchee Citizen.

The 4th-place Chiefs go to 42-27.
