The Boise Hawks buried the Roseburg Owls, 15-1, under a barrage of hits. R.J. Whitley led the onslaught, going 3-for-5 for Boise. The last-place Owls have dropped 4 straight games.
Langston Storey, who is tied for 8th in the NWL in home runs with 11, helped out the Boise cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 2 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"That game had disaster written all over it," said Roseburg skipper Ethan Stumpf. "I could feel it."
