The Aberdeen Ironbirds downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 6-2, in 10 innings. Stéphan White led the way, going 3-for-5 for Aberdeen. Aberdeen is in 5th place in the New York-Penn League South Division with a record of 37-31.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until White delivered big-time for Aberdeen, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Nicky O'Rourke. The game-changing hit put the Ironbirds on top, 3-2.
