The Redmond Rattlers defeated the Wenatchee Chiefs, 5-1. Catcher Pablo Flores deserved a large share of the credit. Flores went 2 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rattlers. Evan Castagnoli got credit for the save for Redmond. It was his 2nd of the year. The 8th-place Chiefs dropped to 30-36.

Flores contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Redmond in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Flores took a slider from Renard Goldberg and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Rattlers to leap in front, 4-1.

"It never gets old," said Flores. "Winning, that is."
