Frazer Buzzsaws Wenatchee Bats in 5-0 Salem-Keizer Win
|
Salem-Keizer pitcher Charlie Frazer had a large part in his team subduing the Wenatchee Chiefs, 5-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The Volcanoes now own a record of 36-29.
The Chiefs had their hands full with Frazer, who overpowered Wenatchee hitters while racking up 13 strikeouts.
Said losing manager Mika Brouwer: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
