Abbotsford right-hander Morton Lucido helped his team edge Spokane by the score of 2-1. Lucido kept the opposing lineup in check. Bo Hughey collected his 6th save. The first-place Canucks have won 5 straight.

The Canucks got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Simon Taylor. For the game, Taylor was 1 for 1 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Abbotsford a 2-1 lead.
