|
Eugene Emeralds starter Bence Short was on his game, helping his team beat the Maine Lobsters, 4-2. Mick Wheeler finished to wrap up his 1st save. Eugene, at 23-42, occupies 8th place in the Northwest League South Division.
Eugene took a 3-2 lead on Alphonso Meraz's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Maine pitcher Trent Rise in the bottom of the eighth.
