Jokers Get Past Spokane for 6-5 Win
|
Atlantic City catcher Ralph Sicks was a significant contributor in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Spokane Indians. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Atlantic City. The win belongs to Judson Luman in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Drake Rooks took the loss for Spokane. Atlantic City, with the win, climbs to 20-45.
Évrard Desbiens was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jokers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This joint was rocking," said Desbiens.
