Blue Jays Victorious at Traverse City, 3-2
|
Led by Logan May, the Dunedin Blue Jays defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters, 3-2. May, a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Blue Jays. The win elevated the Blue Jays to 73-61.
There was more than one reason the Blue Jays beat the Pit Spitters, but May's big at-bat in the top of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
May attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
