Keys Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
|
Lynchburg and Frederick duked it out and the Hillcats came out victorious.
The Lynchburg Hillcats topped the Frederick Keys, 4-1, in East Coast League action at Calvin Falwell Field. The standout performance belonged to Lynchburg pitcher and Green Bay, Wisconsin, native Brayden Isaacson. Asher Buffington got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.
Lynchburg took a 4-1 lead on Michael Huttner's 13th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Huttner hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Frederick pitcher Landry Gilbert visibly frustrated.
"The vibe's good," said Lynchburg manager Antonio Molina. "We've got to keep it going."
Lynchburg has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
