The Winston-Salem Dash and Dunedin Blue Jays provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Dunedin Blue Jays beat the Winston-Salem Dash, 6-5, at BB&T Ballpark. The win was due in part to designated hitter Dylan Dankovich, who went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Jeremy Bouldin, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

In the top of the seventh, Dankovich put his team in front with his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Jim Bost, made it 6-5, Dunedin.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Dankovich.

The Blue Jays sit in second place in the East Coast League Florida Division with a record of 81-51.
