Francillon Goes Deep Twice in 10-7 Ports Win
The Stockton Ports downed the Ventura Gulls, 10-7. The hitting star was center fielder Jonathan Francillon. Francillon slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Ports. Landon McFarland earned the win. Nathaniel Tautkus took the loss for Ventura. Ventura is 5-13 after the defeat.

With Stockton leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Francillon hit a fastball from Nathaniel Tautkus for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Ports ahead, 5-0.

"It's going to click," said Ventura manager Brad Puryear. "It's just a matter of when."
