Wenatchee Offense Sputters in 6-0 Loss
|
The Wenatchee Chiefs had their hands full with Salem-Keizer Volcanoes starter Charles Harris, who frustrated Wenatchee hitters while leading Salem-Keizer to a comfortable, 6-0 win. The Volcanoes upped their record to 31-26.
Gael Quill hit a 2-run double off António Quiñonez in the bottom of the first, which put the Volcanoes in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Quill had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Volcanoes manager Chotaro Inoue.
