Robb Gets 5 Hits
No matter what the Tampa Tarpons threw at him, Luke Robb hit it. He easily handled Tarpons pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Mariners triumph, 29-1, at Virginia Beach Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Robb's quip, Tarpons skipper Connor Ray said he "would take him up on that next time."

Luke Robb singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off J.R. Vong in the 6th.

Thus far this year, Robb is batting .281 with 10 home runs, 17 RBIs and 31 runs scored.
