Charlotte Sports Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

In a low-scoring contest between the Charlotte Stone Crabs and the Winston-Salem Dash, Jakob DelFavero was the X factor. The Charlotte right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The third-place Stone Crabs go to 66-50.

Elias Lawrence contributed to the Charlotte win with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
