Sea Unicorns Snatch 3-2 Win
In a low-scoring contest between the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and the Medford Flying Tigers, Gabriel Díaz was the X factor. The Gold Beach right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Rich Yackel sewed up the save, his 15th. At 35-21, the Sea Unicorns find themselves in third place in the Northwest League South Division.

Jerry Danielson helped out the Gold Beach cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman drew 2 walks.

"That's baseball," said Medford manager Francisco Hichez. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
