The rain came, as predicted, but the Florida Fire Frogs and Oxford Owls were able to complete their ballgame.

Oxford got a terrific game from left fielder Noah Robin. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Florida, 5-3. Robin went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Florida is now 45-56, while Oxford is 50-51.

Silvio Delgado had a big 2-run triple for the Fire Frogs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Florida leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Joshua Heaney, who leads the ECL in quality starts with 11, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fire Frogs ahead, 4-0.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Florida skipper Nicolás Colunga. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
