Florida Listless in 8-1 Loss
|
Bradenton Marauders starter Colin Monciaux worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Florida Fire Frogs, 8-1. Monciaux, now 7-5, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The win puts the Marauders at 41-52, while the Fire Frogs drop to 47-46.
In the top of the third, Ethan Estep delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Bradenton left fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Marauders in front, 8-1.
"Colin is one tough hombre," said Bradenton manager Sean Grimmett.
