Carlin Blasts Rafters, Spartans Take Game 3, 10-3
The Olympia Spartans defeated the Bend Rafters, 10-3, in Game 3 of the Wild Card Series. Making an impact was right fielder Egor Carlin, who went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 times. The win narrows Olympia's deficit in the series to 2-1.

With Olympia leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Uriel Brooks hit a run-scoring double off Bend pitcher John Williams. It put the Spartans ahead 2-0.

Carlin said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Bend in Bend.
