Jokers Hammered by Cameron, Drop Game 6 to Tigers
|
The Connecticut Tigers and the Atlantic City Jokers will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Tigers beat the Jokers, 4-3, at Monongalia County Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Connecticut designated hitter Len Cameron went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice.
Cameron got the Tigers off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Atlantic City manager Jose Ornelas said, following the tough loss.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Monongalia County Ballpark in Atlantic City.
