The Atlantic City Jokers relied on the hitting of second baseman Iban Cuevas to get by the Connecticut Tigers, 2-1, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. For the game, Cuevas hit 2 home runs. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the seventh, Cuevas had a key at-bat for Atlantic City. With the bases empty, Cuevas hit a solo home run off Rayan Caballero, making the score 2-1, Jokers.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Atlantic City manager Jose Ornelas.

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, September 7th , 2061 at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium in Norwich.
