Indians Win Thriller, 2-1
The Cleveland Indians went home winners at Tecumseh Field, thanks in large part to starter Ray Bernard. Bernard stifled the Minnesota Twins, enabling Cleveland to grab the 2-1 win. Cleveland reliever Sebastian Sienkiewicz picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Murray Yallop shouldered the loss. With the victory, the Indians record now stands at 77-78.

Jonathan DeMarino was the walk-off hero for Cleveland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Bernard told reporters after the game.
