Indians Beat Dodgers, 6-3

Cleveland and Los Angeles duked it out and the Indians came out victorious.
The Cleveland Indians handed the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-3 defeat at Tecumseh Field. Left Fielder Hayes Kittredge starred for Cleveland. He was 2-2 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Shayne Frazier went 5.1 innings for Cleveland to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record improves to 11-4. Picking up the save was 22-year old left-handed pitcher Francisco Vergara.
The Indians got a big at-bat from left fielder Ned Weston. For the game, Weston went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Cleveland a 5-3 lead.
Cleveland manager Justin Jackson called it "a pretty good win."
The second-place Indians now have a win-loss record of 87-62.
