Cascades Win Streak Reaches 7
|
Good production from second baseman Andy Kiser helped the Vancouver Cascades topple the Texas Rangers, 7-2. Kiser was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Cascades. Vancouver pitcher A.J. Cutway got the win. He's now 2-2. Sebastian Nodal was tagged with the loss. The winning continues for Vancouver, with the latest making it 7 straight.
The Cascades got a big at-bat from first baseman Echo Warren. For the game, Warren went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Vancouver a 3-1 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Vancouver manager Pablo Vega.
