The Columbus Clippers got a stellar effort from pitcher Jason Seal, helping Columbus score a win over the visiting Syracuse Chiefs, 2-0. Joham Dosal got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The win moves Columbus to a record of 3-4.
The Clippers had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Columbus, with one out. Syracuse, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Caleb Lee dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 circle change, he struck out.
