In a low-scoring contest, San Bernardino pitcher Linden Baumgartner was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. Baumgartner picked up the win for San Bernardino, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Christopher Havill locked down his 4th save.
The Stampede got a big at-bat from first baseman W.C. Mosher. For the game, Mosher went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave San Bernardino a 2-0 lead.
