San Bernardino Stampede pitcher Benjamin Kandell was all business, helping his team muzzle the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-1. The loss makes Lake Elsinore 2-8.

Daniel Chung had a big 3-run home run for the Stampede in the bottom of the sixth inning. With San Bernardino leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Ron Roos and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Stampede on top, 6-0.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said San Bernardino manager Stephon Cohen.
