Lake Elsinore Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Lancaster JetHawks got a sterling performance from first baseman Trevor Knutson, but the Lake Elsinore Storm still prevailed, 9-7. Knutson was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win gives the Storm a record of 4-5.
Lake Elsinore got a knockout punch from Reggie Price. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Price said in his postgame press conference.
