Austin Scoble, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2055 draft, never let the Emeralds get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Flying Tigers to a win, 1-0. Robert Picken wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. The Flying Tigers, at 34-20, lead by one game in their division.

Scoble was in the zone, shutting down Eugene hitters over 7 innings. Scoble, who threw 86 pitches, allowed no runs on 2 hits. He also tallied 6 punchouts.
