Walt Kozlowski never let the Hawks get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the AquaSox to a win, 4-1. The winner was Kozlowski. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Tom Walker. The save went to Andrew Powers, number 3 for him.
Everett used a well-timed hit by Alex Trudnak to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the AquaSox ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Kozlowski.
The AquaSox raised their record to 27-24.
