Spartans Make It 6 Straight with 10-1 Win
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Trent Rickman, who is tied for 7th in the NWL in total bases with 93, the Olympia Spartans defeated the Redmond Rattlers, 10-1. Olympia, at 31-17, holds down third place in the Northwest League North Division.

With Olympia leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Rickman hit a fastball from Henry Scurlock for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Spartans ahead, 4-0.

"What a debacle," groaned Redmond manager Ethan Quinn in postgame remarks.
