Rattlers Drop Close One Late
In a low-scoring tilt between the Abbotsford Canucks and the Redmond Rattlers, 24-year old right-handed pitcher Scott Luna was the difference-maker. The Abbotsford right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win in 11 innings. Reliever Bo Hughey picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Jerry Eckert took the loss. Abbotsford now has a record of 27-17 with the win.

In the bottom of the 11th, Sean Grant knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Redmond pitcher Jerry Eckert.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Grant said.
