Flying Tigers Keep Reeling Off Wins
|
Powered by Wally Adams, the Medford Flying Tigers downed the Wenatchee Chiefs, 5-3. Adams went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk for the Flying Tigers. The winner was Ron Forbes in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Dallas Berry took the loss. Medford now sits at 33-13, while Wenatchee falls to 16-30.
Adams had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Dallas Berry, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Flying Tigers a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Adams.
"Things will change for us," said Wenatchee manager Mika Brouwer. "When things change, we'll get clicking."
