The Castlegar River Kings defeated the Isle of Man Men, 6-3, in Chad League action at Douglas Stadium. Castlegar pitcher Micah Perry had a standout performance. Perry, the winner, moves to 11-3. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. Tai hoi Tao notched his 6th save in 7 chances.

Lewis Jenkins dealt the Men a blow in the top of the third. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Castlegar leading 1-0, Jenkins, who is on pace to hit 31 home runs this season, hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring double.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Jenkins said after the game.

Castlegar now has a record of 54-45 with the win.
