CARL Announces Player of the Week Monday, May 15th , 2006 The Carolina League made it official today: Jason Fransz is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .471 average to take home the trophy. The Wilmington left fielder went 8-for-17, drove in 5 runs, scored 5 times and hit 2 home runs. Fransz is hitting .353 in 2006 with 8 RBIs and 3 home runs. |
