Dan Boitano Hurt, Out for Year Friday, August 15th , 1975 The season is ending on a bad note for Dan Boitano, reliever for the Quad Cities Angels. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Boitano was hurt against the Waterloo Royals while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 7 months. For the season Boitano has made 12 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark and a 0.95 ERA. In pitching 38 innings, he has totaled 39 strikeouts and 12 walks. |
