McFadden Tosses Shutout Against Richmond
Tuesday, April 18th , 1972
Leon McFadden bent a little, but he didn't break against the Richmond Braves. The Louisville Colonels pitcher hurled a 7-hit 7-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 3 walks and tallying 8 strikeouts.
"Leon is good at getting out of jams," Colonels manager told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
