The first-place Houston Astros picked up another win.

The Houston Astros picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, dropping the Anaheim Angels, 5-2. Andy Benes, who finished 2nd in the NL in wins with 19 in 1991, was the difference-maker. The second-place Angels now sit at 35-31.

The Astros got a big at-bat from catcher Javy Lopez. For the game, Lopez was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Houston a 4-0 lead.

"It's a mindset," said Benes. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
