Seattle Mariners starter Chris Frey had all his pitches working at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Seattle win over the Los Angeles Angels. Frey got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. The triumph puts Seattle at 20-19 for the season.

Seattle used the hitting of Matt Diaz to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mariners on top, 5-0. For the game, Diaz had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Chris's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Austin Miller, the Mariners manager.
