Harang Impresses as Reds Knock Off Phillies, 9-0
|
The Philadelphia Phillies had their hands full with Cincinnati Reds starter Aaron Harang, who frustrated Philadelphia hitters while leading Cincinnati to a comfortable, 9-0 win. Cincinnati's record now stands at 17-19, placing them 5th in the NL Central Division.
Harang earned the win, going 7.2 strong innings for Cincinnati. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 7. Philadelphia hitters had little success against him.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Harang.
