Harlow Rips Sacramento for 5 Hits
Larry Harlow put on a hitting clinic today as the Hawaii Islanders dumped the Sacramento Solons 11-9 at Honolulu Stadium.

The Hawaii right fielder made Sacramento defenders earn their pay, lashing Sacramento pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Harlow said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Larry Harlow tripled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Richard Armstrong in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Daniel Chrystal in the 10th.

To date, Harlow has collected 16 hits for a .327 average. He has posted 5 home runs, scored 13 runs and driven in 9 runs.
