Dominant Performance by Dalton in Milwaukee Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers went home winners at Milwaukee County Stadium 1970-2000, thanks in large part to starter Dennis Dalton. Dalton stifled the Toronto Blue Jays, enabling Milwaukee to grab the 2-0 win. Abel Armas earned the save for Milwaukee, his 4th. Milwaukee goes to 11-5.
Toronto could barely put a dent in Dalton. The right-hander tossed 107 pitches over 8 innings for the Brewers, allowing only 3 hits.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Dalton.
