Bisons/Whips Jaster Tames Toledo
The Buffalo/Winnipeg Bisons/Whips shut out the Toledo Mud Hens 8-0 today behind the strong pitching of Larry Jaster. Jaster surrendered only 5 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 5.

Following the last out, Jaster appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Toledo manager , who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Jaster's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart.

The Mud Hens skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Bisons/Whips press conference, Jaster confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.

"He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Jaster said.

"And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Buffalo/Winnipeg manager added.

So far this season Jaster has a 8-10 record with a 4.08 ERA.
