Hitting Streak Still Alive for Fresquez Friday, August 11th , 2028 Oakland (DSL) left fielder Jesus Fresquez keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 25 games after collecting 1 hit at Baseball City Complex today. The Athletics took the 5-2 victory over the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Fresquez said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Jesus Fresquez struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Fresquez is hitting .392 with 6 home runs and 39 RBIs in 51 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .481 with 36 walks and 53 runs scored. |
